Economics news round-up from Intute

5 Dec

The Economics Network have reported on their latest student survey into the state of economics teaching in the UK. Students appreciate their teachers’ knowledge of the subject, but they’d like improvements in the areas of delivery, motivation and confident use of English language. They have also asked students to produce short films to promote the study of economics, with some interesting results.

Elsewhere, the Institute for Social and Economic Research have issued their latest newsletter, including news that East Germans who have suffered economically are as distrusting now as they were just after the end of communism.

… and finally the Centre for Market and Public Organisation published a new bulletin featuring policy related research in the areas of education, health, public / private pay amongst others.

Intute features many other resources on the issue of Economics
