Economics 2.0 eLearning Symposium

Economics Network logoAre you an economics lecturer based in the UK and interested in Web 2.0 technologies? Then an upcoming eLearning symposium from the Economics Network may be of interest.

The symposium will cover technologies such as blogging, podcasting and social networking applications as well as personal response systems and interactive tools for economics. It will take place at the University of Bristol on Tuesday 9 September 2008.

The idea for the symposium came out the DEE 2007 Conference where I ran a workshop with Bhagesh Sachania on the Effective Use of Blogs in Economics Education – which I see has had over 1000 views on SlideShare – so if you are interested in our 2007 take on the state of the Economics blogosphere, why not try the slidecast below.
